Radiohead Songbook

This project consisted of translating four of a bands songs into typographical form. I decided to use Radiohead and four of their most popular songs to turn into an expressive ten paged songbook while still accurately expressing the feeling of the songs.

The beginning of the series introduces the band, showing the artists and naming them on the front, before going into a brief history on the back. For this project I took a more experimental standpoint, relying on colors used within each respective album cover, but with a focus on visually translating how each song sounds and feels to be listened to. (I highly recommend listening to the songs to view these) I pulled typefaces from their various albums, and then took the calmest and loudest part of each song to translate.
